There are two membership options summarized below;
  • Investor
  • Zero Investment (ZI) Sharer

N.B. Rates are subject to change, based on market factors such as fuel costs, figures shown below are correct at the time of posting (March 2022). Monthly payments MUST be paid by standing order to the Helicopter Sharing bank account.

As mentioned elsewhere Investors are also entitled to increased booking privileges and have a greater say in how the scheme is operated, compared to ZI Sharers.

Scheme Exit

As a ZI Sharer, there are two exit options;

Option 1
  • Serve Notice but continue to pay monthly SO
  • Return of deposit after 6m
  • Continued aircraft usage
Option 2
  • Serve Notice and walk away , stop paying SO
  • Forfeit deposit in lieu of 6m notice
  • No ongoing aircraft usage
As an Investor, you "buy into" the scheme for one cycle (e.g. 2200hrs/12 years) until the aircraft needs to be rebuilt, if you choose to leave the scheme it is possible to resell the investment (shares), potentially at a profit where a waiting list exits. Obviously over time the Investment provides value but becomes worth less as the aircraft reaches it's next rebuild milestone.
